We handle each issue individually. If you have any questions about an order that you have placed please contact customer support at email@example.com. See Returns and Exchanges for specifics.
Q: What if my package says delivered and it was not received?
A: We ship using tracking numbers. If a package is verified delivered, then it was delivered. In such situations, the customer has to reach out to the carrier. We will provide any necessary paperworkto file a claim with the carrier.
Q: What if I order the wrong size or the product I ordered doesn’t fit?
A: If you order the wrong size you will have to go through our return process to exchange sizes. Access our returns here: https://taniusa.com/pages/returns-exchange-policy. Follow the directions and we will get back to you about your exchange.
Note that we will not cover the return shipping expenses unless we made the mistake and sent you the wrong product or the wrong size.
Q: What is the difference between the different fabrics used by Tani USA?
A: Tani USA uses the most innovative and durable fabrics. We are the only underwear brand that uses the innovative Micro Modal Air. This is the highest quality and most advanced modal fabric on the market. We also use Tencel and Swiss Cotton.
Not only do we use the best fabrics, but we also employ superior knitting technologies to ensure that our garments are more durable and long-lasting than any other brand on the market.
Q: What is the difference between the SilkCut hip brief and the SilkCut brief?
A: The difference is that the SilkCut hip brief has an elastic comfort waistband and is low rise while the SilkCut brief has a larger pouch and a fabric wrapped waistband. Both are made out of Micro Modal Air.
Q: What is the difference between boxer briefs and trunks?
A: With boxer briefs, the legs are longer, they extend farther down your thighs. With trunks, the legs are shorter and squared off; they look like a pair of tight-fitting shorts. The name came from a style of men's square cut bathing suit popular back in the '50s and 60's called trunks.
Q: I bought FreeForm Trunks and the legs appear unfinished.
A: The legs are designed this way. The goal was to create a fabric that will lay flat on your legs, not roll up, and remain in place all day long without a hem.
By creating a new type of knit, we are able to sheer off the legs without the fabric fraying or rolling up. This is a technical achievement in men’s underwear and we are the only brand to offer free cut edges.
Note the FreeForm collection is designed with this innovative knit and all the garments in this collection have Free Cut edges. FreeForm is available in both Micro Modal Air and ELS (Extra Long Staple Cotton.)
A: No. Thermal shirts are designed to fit under your clothes to keep you warm. The SilkCut t-shirts are form fitting but are designed to be worn as a traditional t-shirt, or under a sweatshirt or a sweater.
Q: What is the difference between a no functional fly, functional fly, and a horizontal fly?
A: No functional fly provides the most support and there is no opening in the front of the garment. A functional fly is a traditional fly. The horizontal fly is a functional fly but is designed with a horizontal opening vs a traditional vertical opening.
Q: What if a product I want to purchase is unavailable or out of stock?
A: If there is something on our website that is unavailable or out of stock, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We may be able to give you a timeline for re-stocking or special order your product just for you.
Q: Are your fabrics Oeko-tex certified, meaning the textiles and fabrics are certified free of harmful chemicals and are safe for very sensitive skin?
A: All fabrics and accessories used on Tani garments are from Oeko-tex certified suppliers in the direct skin contact category.
Q: I live outside the United States, will I have to pay customs duty or taxes when I recieve my order?
A: International customers are responsible for any taxes and/or duties imposed by your country's government as well as any additional shipping and handling fees. If your order is subject to these duties/taxes, they WILL NOT appear on your TANI USA invoice, but will be presented to you and collected by the parcel carrier at time of delivery.
