When it comes to fashion people tend to obsess their looks. More importantly though, is how we feel. Despite how stylish your outfit may be, it is your unseen undergarments that can ultimately make the difference between a good and bad day. If you're looking for an extremely comfortable pair of underwear or undershirt to help roundout your wardrobe then Tani USA underwear may be worth considering.

Tani USA sent this Examiner writer two shirts and two boxers from the company's new 2016 spring and summer collection. After wearing them on and off for a month we've fallen in love with Tani USA's custom fabrics.

Tani USA's SilkCut Slim Button Boxer is made with what the company calls Micro Modal Air fabric. It's "thinner and even softer than silk." The fabric is so light that you can barely feel its weight. This form fitting fabric stretches yet still constricts back perfectly even after the nine washes we've put it through so far. We cannot speak to the exact length of durability but will update this article with changes after we've had the chance to continue wearing it for several additional months.

We've already established that Tani USA's Micro Modal Air fabric feels great, but another excellent feature of the SilkCut V-Neck Undershirt was just how long it was. Tani USA's undershirts are slightly longer than normal undershirts. This fixes pet peeve than many of you may share with us: Your undershirt coming loose beneath your dress shirt. You won't need to fuss about the SilkCut V-Neck Undershirt coming loose from being tucked into your pants after moderate activity around the home, office, or out and about thanks to a few extra inches in length. We don't know why more companies don't do this.

According to Tani USA, "only the top 3% of the cotton produced worldwide is of a high enough quality for our SwissTouch Slim Button Boxer." They call this unique fabric "Swiss Cotton," and it is only available from Switzerland. Tani USA claims that normal 100% cotton feels like "sandpaper" in comparison, and the company is right. The first time we tried the Tani USA SwissTouch Cotton Slim Button Boxer we thought it was surely made from silk or some synthetic material. To be fair, it is 92% Swiss Cotton and 8% Lycra, however we would't have guessed that the SwissTouch Cotton Slim Button Boxer was even made from cotton if we were just told to feel the fabric. While these form fitting boxers were more constricting than what we're used to wearing, they felt fantastic.

Although the SwissTouch Cotton V-Neck Undershirt provides a luxurious base layer with all the benefits we've mentioned about the SwissTouch Cotton Slim Button Boxer, unless you're in the fortunate financial position where you can drop over a grand on your underwear we simply cannot recommend an average reader spends the full MSRP of $145 to purchase this undershirt. That price is for just a single shirt and not a pack. One.

If you lead a busy lifestyle and only do your laundry once a week, then a full work week of five pairs of the Tani SwissTouch Cotton v-Neck Undershirt along with the aforementioned SwissTouch Slim Button Boxers will set you back a cool $1,050. We don't know about you, but we could certainly do a lot with a spare $1,000. We've only worn this particular product six times over the course of a month and cannot speak to its durability, but if other undershirts are any indication you're going to want to replace them within a year with moderate use of once a week.

Don't get us wrong, the SwissTouch Cotton V-Neck Undershirt feels amazing. It's just that in comparison Tani USA's SilkCut V-Neck Undershirt costs less than half the price of the SwissTouch Cotton V-Neck Undershirt at $65. If you end up loving the SwissTouch Cotton Slim Button Boxers like we do though, we recommend making the splurge for the SwissTouch Cotton V-Neck Undershirt if your finances can support it. The SwissTouch Cotton really does feel that good.

One thing's for certain: We're in love with Tani USA's SwissTouch Cotton and are looking forward to seeing what other clothing the company produces with it.
